Haydn Maxwell

Cześć, tu Haydn 👋

My name is Haydn, I am from Bristol in the United Kingdom. I have teaching experience spanning back a few decades but decided on it as a career path seven years ago when I moved to Wrocław. I have taught English in various countries, including Sweden, Spain and Thailand. Over time, as I developed professionally, I discovered just how much I truly love my work and how many people in Poland want and need to improve their skills or even learn the language for the first time. My teaching style focuses on practical communication and building confidence from the very first lesson. I always focus on relaxed and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable speaking. I enjoy talking and listening to people, one of the very enjoyable aspects of my work. Through conversation and correction, I have enjoyed seeing many students gain their confidence and ability to communicate much more fluently and freely. I specialise in helping adults improve their speaking skills and gaining confidence for work/ professional development and travel, but also have experience teaching children and teenagers. It doesn’t matter what your level of the English language is - the most important thing is that you really WANT to learn, and WANT to speak. (Even if you are shy or not feeling confident!) In my free time, my main passion is music production, travelling when I get the opportunity along with activities such as camping.
